For the quantitative analysis, the Biblioshiny software was used, and the graphical representation of the data was carried out with Microsoft Excel.
Results: The results showed a progressive increase in publications between 2019 and 2022, reaching a peak of 174 articles in the latter year. In terms of geographical distribution, the United Sates accounted for 23.7% of the publications, consolidating its position as the main reference of this topic. These findings reflect, although research on burnout síndrome experienced a boom during the COV -19 pandemic, a downward trend has been observed in subsequent years, this happened to reorient for the future research towards other types of approaches and other population groups that were affected.
