Personas con VIH. Por un ambiente laboral preventivo

Resumen

Se refieren aspectos fundamentales de la legislación cubana sobre personas con VIH y con SIDA, en cuanto al ambiente laboral, así como documentos de organizaciones internacionales. Se abordan los factores protectores y de riesgos que pueden presentarse en el desempeño laboral en personas con VIH. El estigma y la discriminación, así como problemas psicopatológicos relacionados y el apoyo necesario en estas personas, son expuestos. La prevención y promoción de la salud en relación con el VIH en los centros laborales, en tanto excelente oportunidad para las administraciones y los sindicatos, son sustentadas. Finalmente se analizan algunos criterios sobre la exposición ocupacional al VIH
