Valores de referencia normativos para el ‘Breve Examen Neuropsicológico de las Funciones Cognitivas (BENFUC)’

Los propósitos del presente trabajo fueron obtener valores de referencia normativos de los subtests y de la batería BENFUC; y calcular la confiabilidad de los subtests y del BENFUC por medio de mediciones test-retest. Se estructuraron tres grupos de las edades entre 55-65 años, entre 66-75 y 76 y más. Fueron administrados el Mini-Mental State Examination y elBENFUC. Se obtuvieron los valores de medias y percentiles según edad en los grupos estudiados, tanto para cada subtest como para el BENFUC total. En todos los subtests y en el BENFUC total se evidenciaron correlaciones negativas con respecto a la edad, y positivas con la escolaridad. No se encontraron diferencias significativas en las medias de los subtests ni del BENFUC total al comparar las ejecuciones test-retest; el Alfa de Cronbach fue de 0,84. La batería BENFUC se muestra útil en la evaluación de funciones cognitivas, para lo que se dispone de valores de referencia normativos
